Global Talent Stream is Added with 3 New Jobs by Canada

Three new jobs added to an extended list of professions covered by the Global Talent Stream by Canadian Government. Under the two-year pilot program, the move brings to the total number of jobs to 13 that qualify for Canada two-week work permit processing.

Architecture and science managers, Engineering managers in addition to mathematicians and statisticians, were included in the list on the one-year anniversary of the stream that launched in the last year June 2017.

One occupation that removed from the list of Global Talent Stream is electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians that come below the Program of Temporary Foreign Worker.

Since the Global Talent Stream began, Canadian companies have praised, as it provides them a critical competitive edge to bring best skilled foreign talent.

Earlier, for the best talent processing time is more than a year.  Following the GTS, the delay has been reduced tremendously to 10 working days. GTS received nearly 1,500 applications for 1,600 positions by the end of April 2018.
