The immigration authorities in Ontario have announced details of two Express Entry draws held on August 16 and 30, to attract candidates for the French Speaking Skilled Worker stream. The province issued NOI to 46 candidates.
Since January 2018 977 candidates received NOIs in the FSSW stream.
There is no minimum point’s requirement in the Ontario FSSW stream. The candidates only need a CLB of 7 in French and 6 in English apart from a post-secondary degree that is equivalent to Canada and a year of work experience.

The Qualifying Norms for Applicants are:
• A Pending application in the system of Express Entry ;
• One year full time, or equivalent work experience under NOC occupation;
• Canadian equivalent Bachelors, Masters degree or PhD;
• CLB level 7 in TEF exam; and minimum CLB 6 in IELTS exam
• Finally, the candidates must agree to reside in Ontario.
The OINP began to publish details regarding these draws since the beginning of 2018. It held 28 F.S.S.W. Stream draws in 2018. Moreover, it also conducted draws in Human Capital Priorities, Entrepreneur and Skilled Trades Stream in this year.

The federal government has made an allocation of 6,600 nominations to the OINP in 2018. The province is presently accepting applications in these streams.
